Classifying at the Canteen!
The children were on a mini learning journey at the school's canteen to do a Classification activity on 12th January.
It is interesting how the kids can think up of ways to classify the things they see at the canteen. For instance, fried food and non-fried food, things that are on the floor and things on the ceiling, electrical and non-electrical things and the list goes on. I'm intrigued!
Below are some photographs that I managed to capture while they were totally absorbed. Enjoy!

Welcome to 3 Agape!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to 3 Agape! I hope your family had a wonderful holiday, and that your child is ready to get back to school. I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you, and I look forward to a happy and productive year of academic accomplishment.
My name is April Chew and I will be your child’s teacher this year. Most of you know me from last year, but for the new parents I would like to tell you a little more about myself. I have been in Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School for the past 4 years and have been teaching the Primary One and Two levels. I enjoy interacting with children and find joy and satisfaction in teaching and learning from them.
Below is some information that may help prepare your child for school.

7.25 a.m. to 12.25 p.m. (Wed)
Pupils are to assemble in the classroom everyday by 7.15 a.m.
Please make sure your children know exactly how they are getting home each day. If there is a change from the normal routine, please inform me.
RECESS TIME

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and want to be available to you whenever you have a question or concern. Just stop by, give a call or send a note, and I can arrange to visit with you after school. I will also send emails/reminders if there are important matters that need your immediate attention.
If I am unavailable, please leave a message with the General Office (62595396) and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Contact details of Mother Tongue teachers will be provided at a later date.

ATTENDANCE & LEAVE OF ABSENCE/MC
I’d like to encourage every pupil to aim for perfect, on-time attendance at school. Pupils who are healthy, well-rested and attend school every day make the best progress because they do not have gaps in their learning. Their minds can build on the lessons that came before and they are able to build connections to what will come after.
If your child is absent from school for any reasons, a written letter or a doctor’s Medical Certificate is required. Please get your child to hand it to me when he/she returns to school.
FORM TEACHER'S TIMETABLE
Please click here to download the timetable. You may try to contact me during my free periods.
I hope you would give me your fullest support and co-operation not only in matters concerning your child/ward but also the class and school as a whole. I will strive to make learning a fun and enriching process for your child. I look forward to working closely with you to bring out the best in your child.
Yours sincerely,
Miss April Chew
