  1. 1 bicycle+ 1 tricycle=5 wheels. 7*5=35. 38-35=3 wheels. 1 tricycle has 3 wheels, so there are 8 tricycles.

  3. I think there are 10 tricycles and 4 bicycles. A tricycle has 3 wheels,and since '38' is made out of '30' and '8':
    30*3=10
    8*2=4

  4. Hang on...10+4=14 not 15.Hmm...Aha!
    8+7=15
    8x3=24
    7x2=14
    14+24=38
    8 tricycles,7 bicycles
    (never mind about the former comment)

  5. 8tricycles x 3wheels = 24 wheels
    7 bicycles x 2wheels = 14 wheels
    ---- ---------
    15 38 wheels
    Ans: 8 tricycles
